Lynn Alimo , E-RYT 500

Lynn has been practicing and studying several disciplines of hatha yoga for over twenty years to include, Kripalu, Iyengar and vinyasa yoga.  She spent several years as a corporate training where she taught classes and workshops on management and leadership.  After the birth of her daughter, Lynn decided to pause her career and raise her family.  During that time she began taking yoga classes and soon discovered the many physical and spiritual benefits of yoga and meditation and has been hooked ever since.

In 2006,  Lynn's continued interest in yoga led her to the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge Massachusetts where she became a registered and certified Kripalu yoga instructor.  Lynn as participated in numerous yoga workshops and conferences over the years and in early 2015 completed the Kripalu 500 hour teacher training certification program.   Lynn's yoga teacher training included specialized modules on meditation, yogic breathing, advanced postures and teaching yoga to specialized populations (seniors, teens, cancer thrivers, prenatal, and back pain)  In addition to teaching weekly classes, Lynn leads yoga retreats and workshops on meditation, stress reduction, yogic breathing and the essentials of yoga.  Lynn is also available private instruction and corporate training.  Lynn credits  her depth of knowledge to her many teachers including, Devarshi Steven Hartman, Larissa Hall Carlson, Yoganand Michael Carroll, Sudir Jonathan Foust, Coby Kozlowski and Sudha Carolyn Linden.

Lynn's classes honor the rich history and tradition of Kripalu yoga while maintaining a modern yet simple approach to practicing yoga where all body types, ages, and fitness levels can adapt and benefit.

"I have been a student of Lynn's for 8+ years.  Her classes are a wonderful combination of yogic wisdom, postures, breath work, and meditation (and the music is wonderful.)  She has perfected her teaching so that it is a well balanced combination of patience with just enough push.  She has changed my life." ---Janet, Marlborough, MA
